Ryan Keeping
About
A Dalhousie University alumni, Ryan has been practicing physiotherapy in a direct patient care setting since 2007. His professional career has spanned from private clinics in Nova Scotia, to New Brunswick and now Alberta. His work experience includes a Clinic Director position at two multi-disciplinary clinics and time overseeing a functional rehabilitation department.
Ryan’s physiotherapy practice consists primarily of client-based exercise, combined with patient education to encourage independence and restored function. He utilizes manual therapy techniques, taping and modalities, as needed, to support this philosophy. Ryan has Part C training in The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. His most recent clinical skill acquisition is IMS/dry needling.
Raised in southern New Brunswick, Ryan relocated to Calgary in 2014, but will always retain his East Coast roots. He is excited at the opportunity to discover western Canada. His interests include world travel, physical activity and spending time outdoors with his wonderful family.
