About

Andreanne Major-Chatelain is a Registered Massage Therapist and an Osteopath.

She started her journey through swimming and volleyball. By being exposed to a highly competitive level sports, Andreanne discovered the world of alternative medicine. Through her youth, she worked at different health facilities such as sports facilities, hospitals and physiotherapy clinics. Through this period, she got her RMT certification in 2006. During her RMT training, Andreanne learned about cranio-sacral therapy. She has now been taking multiple advanced workshops to perfect these skills.

After a few years of experience in massage therapy, Andreanne launches into Osteopathy and decides to get her certification. She completes her certification in 2013. During this period, Andreanne continued perfecting her skills in multiple different techniques such as visceral manipulation, cupping, post-concussion syndrome management through cranio-sacral therapy, strain-counter-strain, temporal-mandibular joint release and myofascial release.

During her career, Andreanne has had the chance to work with multiple physical conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, fibromyalgia, cerebral palsy, post-car accidents, Huntington disease, pregnant women and she has also worked with children. Additionally, Andreanne also helps treating all forms of injuries such as overuse, postural injuries, sport injuries, chronic and/or acute issues.

Andreanne’s treatment style combines manual therapy with mobilizations of joints, soft tissue, myofascial releases, cranio-sacral and visceral manipulation when indicated. This allows her to pinpoint and address the sources of pain so you can improve the overall health and alleviate the aches and pains within your body. Treatments options are available in either English or French as per client preference.

In her spare time, Andreanne is very active. She enjoys spending time with her family and in the outdoors.
