Rishita Patel
About
Rishita graduated with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2022. Prior to her degree in physical therapy, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Toronto in 2020.
She has experience and loves working with all age groups, and treating a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions. She provides evidenced-based and patient-centered care to help her clients reach their rehabilitation and health goals.
Rishita’s treatment approach involves a combination of hands-on manual therapy techniques, personalized exercise prescription, client and condition specific education, and other adjunct techniques including modalities and taping. Her main goal is to empower her clients to take an active role in their rehabilitation journeys.
She became passionate about physical therapy after sustaining a sport injury when she was younger; she understood the integral role her physical therapist played in her recovery and return to sport. Her goal now is to provide that integral support for her clients.
In her spare time, Rishita enjoys training in the gym, playing a variety of sports (e.g. basketball, soccer), and playing the guitar.
