Nicole Mielke

Registered Massage Therapist

About

Nicole is an experienced Registered Massage Therapist of over 18 years with a background in treating a variety of orthopaedic conditions and in the last few years developed skills in treating concussion, brain injury and temporomandibular joint disorders.

Nicole has been a Registered Massage Therapist since completing her training at Algonquin College’s three year program in 2001. After a traumatic motor vehicle accident in 2009, Nicole discovered the benefits of John Barnes Myofascial Release. Myofascial Release was integral to her healing & inspired her to learn the techniques and become an Expert Level therapist. Her professional training also includes all levels of TraumaPractick, a global and holistic approach to trauma and injury which includes cranialsacral techniques and many other orthopaedic assessment courses.

Nicole is passionate about continuing education and consistently takes courses to expand her knowledge for the benefit of her clients. Her focus is helping clients realize their potential to heal, to increase their awareness of their own body and power. To provide a safe space with compassion allowing the client to be present in their body and allow deep healing to occur.

In her spare time, Nicole loves to travel, enjoy moderate activities like swimming, a little yoga, cycling and appreciates just “being” in nature.
