Erin Hornick
About
Erin graduated from physiotherapy school at McMaster University in 2002 after completing a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. Erin has been working as a physiotherapist in orthopedics for 15 years with athletes and active people of all ages and abilities. As well as treating acute injuries, Erin also focuses her practice on working with her patients to help them reach their fitness and sport performance goals.
Since graduating in 2002, Erin has taken many theory based, manual and exercise prescription courses to assist her in practice. She has a special interest in acute and chronic knee and shoulder injuries. Erin uses exercise prescription, manual therapy, acupuncture, education, and other modalities to help her patients improve and resolve their injuries. Erin believes in empowering her patients with education and self-management strategies to enable them to be successful in maintaining an active lifestyle.
