Karen Oura
About
Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia in 2003. In 2004, she completed an acupuncture course and has since been a Certified Acupuncture Practitioner with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. Karen is an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and registered by the College of Physiotherapist of Alberta in good standing. She is also a Level 3 manual therapist and has completed Diagnostic Imaging training with the University of Alberta in 2012, allowing her to order diagnostic imaging in Alberta.
Karen spent many years as the team physiotherapist for the Canucks Rugby Club as well as physiotherapist at the World and Canadian Figure Skating Championships.
When Karen is away from the clinic, she is an adult synchronized figure skater and busy with her two young children.
