Sean Buckley

Registered Massage Therapist

About

With 22 years of experience, Sean received his extensive 2200 hours of education under the regulatory governing body of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and practiced under the Health Professions Act for 13 years. He originally started his career by working in a natural holistic multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic in Iceland from 1999 to 2001, then returned to Ontario to run his own rehabilitation clinic.

In 2013, he sold his successful business, squeezed everything he owned into his car and came rolling into Calgary to continue his career with Lifemark Sport Medicine as a member of the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta.

He sets top priority to comfort, attentiveness and thoroughness with specialties in Myofascial Tension Release, Advanced Dynamic Cupping Applications, and Active Kinetic Massage Techniques to achieve optimal therapeutic goals for integrated deep tissue relief as well as lighter applications for stress management treatments. With excellent communication skills, he is also proficient in American Sign Language to offer an inclusive therapeutic service.

In his spare time, Sean loves to explore the mountains year round, the extensive trail system throughout Calgary, usually has a DIY project on the go, enjoys puttering in the garden, and chilling out with a sci-fi movie.
