About

September (Amber) has been a registered massage therapist for over 20 years and she has experience treating overuse, repetitive injuries, motor vehicle accident and sports related injuries, chronic pain, and postural imbalances. Amber is excited and honoured to bring her skill set and her healing work to Lifemark. She also understands the importance of regular therapeutic maintenance for a vital and healthy lifestyle.

Amber graduated from Okanagan College of Massage Therapy in 1996 and has a Bachelor of Physical Education from University of Calgary. She taught for many years at the OVCMT in Vernon, BC. She found this to be a rewarding experience and it greatly broadened her knowledge and understanding of massage therapy and healing. She has a passion for continued learning of human anatomy, nutrition, healing and health.

Amber uses various treatment approaches and modalities including the use of trigger point release, myofascial release, gua sha, craniosacral, gentle visceral massage, Swedish and the prescription of therapeutic exercise. She is also a student of Ortho-Bionomy a subtle osteopathic based modality. Amber’s goal is to provide compassionate and exceptional massage therapy care.

In her personal life, Amber has a keen interest in football, traveling, photography, enjoying great food & wine, health and various outdoor activities.
