Physiotherapist

About

Steven graduated from Queen’s University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy following an Honours Bachelor of Physical and Health Education at the University of Toronto. He has a passion for orthopaedic physiotherapy and has a certification in acupuncture and dry needling. Steven is working towards post-graduate training in strength and conditioning, concussion, and manual therapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Steven’s treatment philosophy involves a combination of patient education, manual therapy and exercise prescription. His background in strength and conditioning allows him to tailor his exercise programs to the specific needs of each patient. Steven uses a collaborative and patient-centered approach that is focused around his patients’ goals and getting them back to the functional activities that they enjoy. His goal is to empower his patients and to provide them with the tools that they need in order to take control of their recovery.

Steven enjoys staying active by lifting weights, running, hiking, snowboarding, and playing sports such as hockey, soccer and tennis. He can also be found playing the guitar and watching the Toronto Maple Leafs.
