About

Jo-Ann is a bilingual (French/English) Yoga Therapist/Educator. Yoga Therapy has its roots in Western medicine with the principles of the ancient teachings of yoga and establishes learning objectives that have therapeutic intent supporting individuals in their healing process. Jo-Ann’s sensitive approach is rooted in her deep respect for the intelligence of the body-mind connection and the human capacity for inner guidance and encourage the client to take an active role in their healing process. The focus of each session is less on striving to perfect the mechanics of the body, and more on learning to direct attention within, so as to access the body’s intrinsic wisdom. Jo-Ann brings to her work as teacher and guide, an energetic and uplifting style, personal conviction, passion and an easy way of communicating with clients.
