About

Dr. Bruce Monkhouse graduated in 1986 from the University of Alberta, Ph. D. in Counselling Psychology. He was employed as a Forensic Psychologist with the Correctional Services of Canada for 27 years, including 10-years as the Chief of Mental Health Services at William Head Institution. Dr. Monkhouse also taught in the Departments of Psychology and Educational Psychology at the University of Victoria for 21 years.

Most recently he has been working primarily in the area of the treatment of trauma with First Responders, Police, Firefighters and current and former members of the Canadian Military.
