About
Olivia Hazim is a highly skilled Registered Physiotherapist, currently licensed with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Olivia's passion for physiotherapy began at the University of Ottawa where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 2009. Since then, Olivia has continued to expand her knowledge by completing professional training in several field philosophies and approaches, including Mulligan manual therapy concept, McKenzie mechanical diagnosis and therapy, and pelvic health physiotherapy, among others.
Olivia's patient-centered approach to physiotherapy is grounded in her belief that collaboration with her clients is the key to achieving their desired outcomes. She offers individualized treatment plans that include manual therapy, electrotherapy/modalities, patient education, and prescribed exercises tailored to meet her patients' specific needs. Olivia's special interests include treating orthopedic conditions in people of all ages, with a particular focus on senior's care and the treatment of female urinary incontinence.
Beyond her professional work, Olivia is an active member of her community, providing pro-bono work at a local Hockey association. In her spare time, she enjoys running, outdoor activities in all seasons, and learning about Indigenous cultures. Olivia's dedication to her patients and her passion for physiotherapy make her an invaluable member of the healthcare community.
