Heather Lisa Howorucha
About
Heather graduated from McMaster University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She also holds an Honours degree in Bio-Medical Science from the University of Guelph. Heather is a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. She is a qualified Occupational Therapist licensed to practice in Ontario and is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
She has clinical fieldwork experience with inpatient psychiatric care, chronic pain disorders, cognitive rehabilitation and outpatient physical medicine. She is passionate about providing care for those with cognitive and neurological disorders, and is excited to continue her education and further her knowledge by taking courses in cognitive behavioural therapy and acquired brain injury.
During her free time Heather enjoys spending time with family and friends, and participating in outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and cycling.
