Maria is an empathetic and dedicated physiotherapist committed to aiding patients in their recovery journey and alleviating their pain to enhance their quality of life. With a degree in physiotherapy from Colombia in 2013 and licensure in Ontario in 2021, she is now registered with The Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists. Maria holds certifications in myofascial instrumented manipulation and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture.

Beyond her expertise, Maria’s warm demeanour and bilingual fluency in Spanish and English facilitate effective communication and foster patient comfort. She thrives in multidisciplinary settings, recognizing the collective benefit of diverse healthcare approaches. Outside of work, Maria cherishes time with her family and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and unwinding with movies among loved ones.
