Katrina Majetic
About
Katrina is an experienced Pelvic Health and Orthopedic Physiotherapist who completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University. Prior to this, she graduated with honours from Brock University with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences. Katrina loves to be active and while at Brock provided athletic therapy to the varsity cross country and track teams.
A mat and reformer pilates instructor for 5 years, Katrina has additional training in older adult, pre-natal and post-natal clinical pilates. She has a special interest in bone health and completed the OsteoCircuit program to better serve her clients living with osteoporosis.
With a focus on women's health, she is compassionate and understanding of the challenges her patients face whether an acute injury or a chronic health concern. She has completed training in manual therapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopedic Division, 3 levels of Pelvic Health training, certifications in endometriosis care and pelvic girdle pain, and advanced training in fascial mobilization.
Combining therapeutic exercise, personalized education and manual therapy, her holistic approach supports patients from all walks of life. Outside of the clinic, you can find Katrina playing outside (hiking, paddle boarding or golfing) or trying new cafes around the city!
