Upendranath Kodanda

Physiotherapist

About

Upendranath is a dedicated physiotherapist with more than a decade of clinical experience across hospital and outpatient rehabilitation settings. After earning his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in India in 2004, he built a strong foundation in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.

In this setting, he worked closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support recovery, maximize physical function, and manage complex inpatient and outpatient cases. His clinical background includes care for post-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, and critical care patients, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based pain management and functional rehabilitation.

After transitioning to outpatient practice, Upendranath deepened his expertise in treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. His clinical approach includes comprehensive assessments, skilled manual therapy, and targeted exercise prescriptions tailored to each patient’s needs.

Driven by a commitment to clinical excellence, he completed the Equivalency Program for Internationally Educated Physiotherapists at McGill University in 2025. This training helped align his clinical competencies with Canadian healthcare standards and reinforced his focus on individualized treatment planning and evidence-based practice.

Outside of his professional practice, Upendranath enjoys staying active by playing tennis and exploring new cultures through travel.
