About

Andreea is a qualified Occupational Therapist licensed to practice in British Columbia and registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC. Andreea graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Master in Occupational Therapy in 2019, after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Physiology from Simon Fraser University in 2017.

Andreea joined the Lifemark team in 2020. She has prior occupational therapy experience working in mental health settings, and has completed ongoing training in this area including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy training through the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, and Motivational Interviewing training. She has a keen interest in mental wellness, anxiety management, and the relationship between mental health and successful return-to-work. She also has interest and previous experience working with a paediatric population.

Outside of her work as an occupational therapist, Andreea enjoys running, hiking, and spending time outdoors. During her studies, Andreea spent several years working as a lifeguard and swim instructor, and volunteering as a swim coach for Special Olympics BC.
