Bhumika Bhardwaj
About
Bhumika grew up with a love for sports, including playing competitive basketball, which sparked her early interest in physical health and movement. Her dedication to helping others fuelled her passion for healthcare and rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) from the University of Calgary, followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta.
Bhumika is committed to helping her patients recover, move with confidence, and prevent future injuries. She treats musculoskeletal and neurological conditions using a patient-centred and evidence-based approach. Bhumika incorporates techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional dry needling into her care. In addition to her clinical practice, Bhumika also works at the Peter Lougheed Centre, supporting individuals with acute care needs.
Bhumika also has a strong interest in Women’s Pelvic Health. She works with individuals experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, dyspareunia, endometriosis-related symptoms, and postpartum-related changes. Through her certifications in women’s pelvic health physiotherapy and clinical practicums, she has gained meaningful exposure across a variety of care settings.
Bhumika is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their health journey.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Bhumika on the pickleball or basketball court. She enjoys barre, pilates, and dance. She also loves winding down with a good murder mystery; whether it’s a book or a binge-worthy series. She’s also a self-proclaimed foodie who enjoys discovering and sharing new food finds on social media.
