David Chiu
About
David was born and raised in Calgary and grew up swimming competitively and playing various other sports like basketball. Having experienced injuries himself, this led him to work alongside various health professionals including physiotherapists which peaked his interest in the health care field. This interest led David to complete a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. He then went on to achieve a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta.
He is passionate about treating any and all musculoskeletal injuries and aims to provide patient centered care and evidenced based practice to help people prevent and recover from their injuries. He prioritizes patient education and uses various manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription to help patients achieve their goals or overcome any challenges they may be facing.
When David is not working you can find him at the gym, playing volleyball, basketball, and skiing.
