About

Dr. Alizadeh received her degree from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver in 1997 following three years of preparatory sciences. Post-graduation she completed an intensive clinical internship at the Shandong University Hospital of TCM in China.

Dr. Alizadeh is a registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and a Licensed Professional Acupuncturist. She has served in the past as a board member of Qualified Acupuncturists and TCM Practitioners of B.C. and was a member of the Scope of Practice Committee of the College of TCM Practitioners and Acupuncturists of B.C. while practicing in that province for 10 years. She has been practicing in Calgary since 2007. 

Dr. Alizadeh takes a holistic approach to health & well-being including a focus on preventive care. She has extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions, especially in pain management. She helps her patients to achieve better outcomes, recover from injuries, address chronic pain arising from conditions such as tension headaches and migraines, arthritis, tennis elbow, sciatica and various inflammatory conditions as well as injuries arising from accidents.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Alizadeh is a long distance runner, loves to travel and enjoys the beautiful Alberta outdoors with her family.
