Kiel Timmons
About
Kiel is a 2023 honours graduate from ICT Northumberland College with an extensive amount of volunteer work with athletes from around the city. While in college, he was able to treat members of the Canoe-Kayak Canada team, as well as the Halifax Mooseheads, Wanderers, and Thunderbirds, through the FUNSports foundation. Also, during the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship, Hockey Canada invited the FUNSports team to treat team Canada while in Halifax. During his free time throughout his schooling, he also volunteered with the SMU Women’s hockey team.
He takes pride in his ability to perform deep tissue massage treatments and he has completed other modality trainings including myofascial releases, trigger point therapy, and general Swedish massage.
Prior to Kiel’s endeavor into massage therapy, he was a graduate from Dalhousie University with a double major in Physics/Math, but eventually realized that he wanted to work in sports or with athletes, and he is excited to work with everyone around the SMU campus.
Kiel is a huge sports fan, hockey and tennis are his favorite to play, but he also loves a quiet Sunday at home to watch the NFL. He also loves to spend his time dancing, he has been an avid ballroom dancer
