About

Kim received her degree in Physiotherapy from University of Saskatchewan in 1991. She has had extensive experience working in sports medicine clinics in Saskatoon, Edmonton and Calgary. She has post-graduate certificates in Manual and Manipulative Therapy (Part A), a Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy, Diagnostic Imaging Certificate as well as a Certificate in Medical Acupuncture and Gunn IMS (dry needling). Kim did advanced training in Beijing, China further honing the art and science of her acupuncture knowledge. Most recently, she has been adding Visceral Manipulation Certification to her list of post-graduate courses.

Treating the whole person in a hands-on approach gives Kim’s patients gratifying outcomes. Doing her utmost to help you achieve your goals.

 

Working with athletes has always been an area of interest. Kim has been on medical teams at the World University Games, Commonwealth Games, Pan Am Games, Canada Games, World Police and Fire Games and worked at many International, National and Provincial sporting events. She has had the good fortune of working with hockey athletes from Tyke to the NHL and Olympic Teams. Kim’s two children have participated in high level sport. Her daughter played Tier 1 City soccer then she went on to a University soccer scholarship at StFX. Her son played Quadrant hockey, played in the WHL then on to University hockey at UNB. Kim understands, first hand, how to educate athletes to their full potential.

When not at work Kim tries to fit in her own loves of reading, walking with friends, skiing, water sports and cycling.
