About

Originally from Brazil, Marcia graduated as a physiotherapist in 2009 and has over 5 years of experience practicing in Brazil and Venezuela. She has worked in clinical settings, rehabilitating patients through a variety of orthopaedics, rheumatologic, and neurologic conditions, manual therapy, TMJ, prescribe personalized exercise programs, Pilates methods, modalities, and kinesiology taping.

Marcia moved to Canada in 2016, became a registered licensed member with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta and is consistently eager to stay educated to gain new skills and knowledge. Over the years she completed her Concussion and Vestibular rehabilitation courses and has upgraded her needling qualifications.  

She believes that patient education, rapport building, and understanding patient’s needs are essential to provide her patients with the best quality treatment and care.

Marcia is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
