Mary Semadeni
About
Mary graduated from Dalhousie University’s School of Occupational Therapy in 2006. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University from which she graduated in 2002.
Mary has extensive experience working in mental health, and has spent the last 14 years working with children and youth and their families at the IWK Health Care Centre in the Mental Health Program. Mary has worked in acute psychiatric inpatient units, within residential and day programs, and in the community. Mary is a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists as well as the Nova Scotia College of Occupational Therapists. Mary has completed additional training in the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach, as well as trauma informed care treatment using the Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC) Framework.
