Nicole Kohlert
About
Nicole is an Advanced Bobath Therapist who is specifically trained in treating clients with neurological conditions such as strokes, traumatic brain injuries, Parkinson's, and Multiple Sclerosis (MS). She has over a decade of physiotherapy experience and incorporates Myofascial Release therapy techniques into her practice.
She has recently completed her LSVT Big certification, which is a research-based exercise protocol for Parkinson's Disease. Nicole offers comprehensive evaluation, fitting and follow up for the Odstock® Dropped Foot Stimulator. Nicole also runs a community LSVT Big Parkinson's exercise class. She volunteers her time as part of the Can Do program for people with Multiple Sclerosis.
Nicole also oversees the organization of educational and training courses through the Ottawa Physiotherapy Neuro Education Group for health professionals in the Ottawa area and beyond. She also volunteers her time as a Board Member on the uOttawa Brain and Mind Institute Community Stroke Advisory Board.
