Ryan Schwab
About
Ryan has worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant since 2022, supporting patients through evidence-based rehabilitation, movement education, and functional exercise programming. He is dedicated to helping individuals regain strength, mobility, and confidence through clear communication and individualized treatment plans.
He completed a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from St. Lawrence College, where he gained experience working with varsity athletes from both St. Lawrence College and Queen’s University as a Strength & Conditioning Assistant. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Health Studies and Psychology at Queen’s University, and has a strong interest in pursuing a Master of Science in Physical Therapy.
Ryan works with a wide range of patient populations, including orthopedic, post-operative, chronic pain, motor-vehicle accident clients, older adults, and veterans through the PCVRS program. His clinical skills include therapeutic exercise instruction, functional movement training, balance and coordination work, patient education, and supporting home exercise programming. He is also certified in Functional Movement Screening (FMS).
Outside of the clinic, Ryan enjoys fitness, golf, and bouldering, and brings this passion for movement into his approach to rehabilitation.
