Taylor Simmons
About
Taylor completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at Acadia University. Following this, she completed her Master of Occupational Therapy degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her specialty areas of interest within Occupational Therapy include mental health, posttraumatic stress disorder, chronic pain, return to work, ergonomics, and concussion management. Taylor loves working in the profession of Occupational Therapy because it is so diverse, and allows her to be creative and innovative when creating treatment plans for clients. Taylor uses an occupation-based approach to help clients achieve their goals and make meaningful change in their lives.
When Taylor isn’t at Lifemark, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, thrift shopping, reading, cooking, and traveling to new places. Taylor values living an active lifestyle and enjoys strength training, pilates, cycling, running, and hiking.
